Wild Things forest babies
This is where the Wild Things experience can start for many.
Parents with babies and young toddlers (up to around 17 months) come to play and explore nature.
There is lots of sensory play, mindful activities to help us slow down and enjoy nature around us, and creative activities using natural materials.
It’s also a group for parents to come together to meet others and to enjoy some nature based crafts.
‘This is my favourite day of the week now!’ Caroline
When: Restarting after Easter, 25th April
Where: Wild Things site, in the grounds of Millthorpe School, York

Wild Things explorers
Back to basics fun! For toddlers (18 months) to 5 years
These sessions encourage you and your child to play in nature – we play with sticks, mud, sand, woodland treasures (pine cones, leaves, seeds….), we climb, we take a few (managed) risks, we make friends, learn to respect nature and fire…the play opportunities are endless.
When: Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays, 10.15-11.30am
Where: Wild Things site, in the grounds of Millthorpe School, York
Waiting list: The sessions are currently fully booked for this half term but you can add you name to the waiting list - follow the link below, click on the day you are interested and click the 'join the waiting list' button.

mONTHLY sATURDAY MEET UPS
The Saturday sessions are perfect for those families who can’t make the weekly sessions. Fun for the whole family.
The sessions encourage independent play and exploration, as well as having a more structured activity for those interested in developing their awareness of the environment.
We end with a campfire to toast marshmallows and to enjoy hot chocolate around the campfire.
